Nar Nar Goon Riding Club
Nar Nar Goon Riding Club was established in 1985 and is affiliated with the HRCAV
Currently we have about 25 members, with rallies held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. The majority of our rallies are held at the Club Ground, but during winter we hire an indoor arena. Riders 17 years and over of all levels are welcome to join the club.
The rally format is currently a 1 hour lesson in a group of two or, if it is a jumping lesson, 1½ hours with 5-6 riders. We use a variety of instructors and are always willing to try instructors recommended by our members.
Our rallies are fairly relaxed - members can come for their lesson only, or may socialise over lunch. We hold our meetings quarterly with all members invited to attend and participate, with the option of enjoying a social meal before the meeting.
At members request we sometimes have other activities including trail rides and clinics, and are open to suggestions from members.
We have members of varying levels, with some out competing. Over the past couple of years we have had a team in the TTT dressage competition.
